Striped Bass Special"

Back by popular demand,  I'm offering a great way to beat the summer heat during the months of August and September and at the same time provide an opportunity for catching some very large striped bass and hybrids by night fishing on Hartwell Lake.  This style fishing often produces the largest stripers we catch all year long!   

    These fish pictured above were caught during the last week of August 2009 between 10 pm and midnight.  We typically fish in 150-170 feet of water and the fish are caught 80 to 110 feet deep!  Now that is some real fun and a great battle on medium-light striper tackle.  Come on over and and we'll have a great time!  And you just might catch the biggest fish of your life, as we have taken night stripers approaching 30 pounds! This type fishing should be excellent all summer long and into the early fall.  If this sounds good to you, I would like to invite you to come join me!  

    These trips typically last 4 to 5 hours, although we can stay longer if those fish just won't quit biting! (On our best trip last year, we boated 40 stripers weighing approximately 300 lbs total!)  The standard cost for one angler is only $200.  For two or three fishermen the cost is only $250.  

    I provide all equipment, bait, ice, and even snacks!
